The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is Cleveland’s most popular attraction and rightly so. It sits off the shore of Lake Erie and has a unique building designed by I.M. Pei. There are 6 floors dedicated to the history of rock music. Throughout the museum, you will find some incredible memorabilia such as the manuscript of “Purple Haze” by Jimi Hendrix. Even if you’re not a die-hard rock fan, make sure to put this on your list of things to do while you’re in the area as it is the country’s one and only Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum.

Little Italy

Dive into Italian culture in one of Cleveland’s most ethnic neighborhoods. Little Italy came about in the 19th century when immigrants came here from Italy’s Abruzzi region. Today it is home to restaurants, art galleries, and annual festivals. While you’re here make sure to stop by Corbo’s Bakery for delicious Italian cookies and Guarino’s for authentic Southern Italian cuisine which consists of different pasta and veal dishes.

Also known as the Cleveland Metro Park this extensive nature system is a beautiful place to get out and explore nature. With plenty of paved pathways and gorgeous scenery, this spot is a favorite of the locals for biking or walking. Exploring the park, you’ll find many lakes and streams which offer the perfect place to have a picnic. There are also golf courses and many different spots to fish at. In the area you can also find the Cleveland Zoo.

This urban district near downtown Cleveland covers a square mile and is known for its vibrant energy. At University Circle you’ll find museums, universities, restaurants, parks and more. Walking down the side streets you’ll see some of Cleveland’s 19th century mansions that have been turned into coffee shops and restaurants. In the area you’ll also find world-renowned museums such as the Cleveland Museum of Art. Check out the Cleveland Cultural Gardens and the Rockefeller Greenhouse to see historical sculptures and exotic gardens.
